Weidemangement, die Artenviel und vor allem das Birkhuhn erfahren. Die Almwirtschaft ist gelebter Naturschutz. Vom Menschen gepr\u00e4gte offene bis halboffene LEbensr\u00e4ume (Almfl\u00e4chen und lichte Waldweidestrukturen) stellen einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Erhaltung eines ausreichenden Lebensraumsangebotes f\u00fcr das Birkwild in den Kalkalpen dar, wo die Gipfel i.d.R. kaum \u00fcber die Waldgrenze hinausreichen.
